Covid directly impacted our initial service offering. We've pivoted to branching out and expanding our professional network.
Creating this discussion forum is an example of how we have pivoted to adding long term value for our peers!
Covid helped my online health and fitness business since gyms are closed. While at-home workouts are where I want to keep my focus, I'm beginning to branch out to outdoor workouts locally for moms. Childcare is always an issue, but we are making it happen! I am big on providing a space for positivity and feel good vibes and fitness is a tool for that.
I've seen some companies completely shift to going virtual and others are working hard to reinvent themselves right now! Empathy in the workplace is probably one of the most valued attributes in this moment!
Covid in a way pushed me outside my comfort zone and made me relook the learning interventions that I had to offer. I created content and facilitated online programs for children which I had done only in a classroom set up which has been my preference for a long time... Covid made me look at online offerings and experience both the bottlenecks and benefits.
@Stephen Comstock Covid gave me the opportunity to look at new ways, only ever done in person presentations so webinars and podcasts are new things I have embraced. Also I am very inactive on social media but I gave LinkedIn more time and I met you. So all is wonderful, David
Definitely an interesting time of transformation. Covid created a unique vacuum to work on my business with an increased energy and focus that probably would not have happened otherwise. Was actually interviewed on this very topic here.
I agree with @Jayger McGough Tomasino that empathy is a key attribute right now. Open mindedness AND open heartedness!
